I am going to test with heat strips and if it is all over the board as I suspect it will be, I will ship it back. I asked this guy what position he held with the company and he said he was customer service. He said he had a manager who he reported to but that person was not in. That person will call me back tomorrow or at some point. Without the heat strip test I really don't feel I have a strong enough argument with them. This will all be settled within a week one way or the other as I am tired of dealing with it. It will be heat tested and returned or heat tested and thrown away.

Development: A guy from SunIE just called me and basically said everything I needed to hear as a customer. An end is in sight.

I'll be pleased to help you to try and solve the heat press problem. We used to sell the SunieSeiki brand. If you like, give me a call at 800-678-8289.  Ed

They called me this afternoon. They reported that they are "confused" as they found very little variation in temp - "at most 20 degree's". They will however charge me a restocking fee and refund me $172 (or something like that). I think they are full of it but plan to take the refund and be done with them. They have made a nice profit and still can sell a crappy heat press to another unsuspecting person.

Update: I called them back 15 minutes later as agreed - answering machine. Left a detailed message - no return call. I am just sayin.....
I will call again and hope they have the decency to respond.
